Camping and Bike Racing

The joy of large rocks!

Riley and Mommy enjoying some extra morning time. It was pretty funny waking up w/ Riley in the same tent. His little head pops up and "hi" is the first thing he says. Normally at home he has to bust out a few verses of Old McDonald or the ABC's when he wakes up.

Yeah, the water was a little frigid. We couldn't pay Laurie to go in this deep. But notice that the stick never left his grasp. That is what you call dedication.

Nothing beats diggies on the beach. Except maybe chasing geese on the beach.

Mother and son by the water.

Stick hunting w/ "Uncle Aren" for the camp fire. Breaking sticks had become a new favorite activity for Riley. He is very excitied about fires now as well. I think we should be scared.

Riley about 10 minutes into the trip home. Note the dirty legs and classic "Ward" sleeping posture. It was a very fun trip. Lots of new experineces for the little guy and fun for Laurie and I with the old Chico crowd.
